Our Athletic Department offers a highly competitive and successful environment with fourteen intercollegiate sports. These programs have compiled several conference championships and have helped produce numerous athletes who have gone on to play at the university and professional level. Honor Society
Honor Society

Butte College is home to the Beta Theta Kappa chapter of the Phi Theta Kappa International Honor Society for two-year colleges. Out of a field of over 1,250 chapters world-wide, the Butte College chapter has been ranked among the top six for three years in a row.

Experience a live performance put on by the Drama department. Various performances are offered throughout the year such as one-act plays, full-length plays, and musicals.

Art Gallery Exhibitions

The Butte College Art Gallery, located in the ARTS building on the main campus, features regular exhibitions of contemporary art. It also hosts an Annual Juried Student Exhibition and Awards Ceremony that honors some of the College’s most talented art students.

Safe Place & Wellness Program

The Safe Place & Wellness Program offers a visible support system for victims of sexual assault, intimate partner violence and stalking through outreach, crisis intervention, advocacy, and educational programming at Butte College.

MESA
MESA

Butte College MESA is an academic program that supports underrepresented and educationally disadvantaged community college students to excel in math, engineering, and science so they can transfer to four year institutions as majors in these fields.

Dining Services

Butte College students have a number of dining options on the Main Campus and at the Chico Center, including Campus Center Dining, Coffee Stop, Wired Café, Chico Center Café, and The Outpost.
